Send a WhatsApp invoice reminder
Review the recipient, edit the reminder, and open it in WhatsApp.
Prepare the reminder
- 1
Open the correct invoice.
Review its current payment state before asking the customer to pay.
- 2
Tap Send WhatsApp Reminder.
Use the green chat icon in the invoice toolbar to open WhatsApp Invoice Reminder.
- 3
Check Recipient Phone Number.
Use the customer’s full international number, including the country code. Correct the prefilled number if needed.
- 4
Review Message Preview.
Read the customer and business names, invoice number, dates, amount, and payment details. The default text uses the invoice total; edit it if the true outstanding amount differs.
- 5
Edit or copy the text.
You can adjust the message directly. Copy Text copies the current preview for use in another message, without confirming any delivery.
Open and send through WhatsApp
- 1
Choose Send via WhatsApp.
The app checks the phone number and available reminder credit or Pro access.
- 2
Review the opened conversation.
Confirm that WhatsApp has opened the intended recipient and the correct message.
- 3
Send from WhatsApp.
Finish sending in WhatsApp. Opening a link does not prove the message was sent or read.
If WhatsApp does not open
Check that WhatsApp is installed or available through the browser, that the number includes the country code, and that internet access is working. Copy Text gives you a fallback for composing the message yourself.
A reminder opens text, not an invoice PDF attachment. Use Share Invoice to send the PDF separately. A free reminder credit may be used before the external app confirms a successful launch.
