Why cash flow and profit differ
An invoice can be posted before a customer pays it. A purchase can also be recorded before the supplier is paid. Profit & Loss and Cash Flow answer different questions, so their totals do not need to match.
Compare this report with your own cash count and bank statements. An app entry describes a payment; it does not initiate a real bank transfer. If an expected receipt is missing, check that the invoice was marked paid and that its payment date falls in the selected period.
