Protect the app with a PIN

Turn on App Lock#

   Open Security.

   Choose Settings → Security and turn on App Lock.

   Set a four-digit PIN.

   Use the number pad to enter a PIN you can remember.

   Confirm the PIN.

   Enter the same four digits again. If they do not match, repeat the setup.

   Check the lock.

   After the app locks, use your PIN on the unlock screen. Use backspace on the number pad to correct a digit before completing the entry.

Disable App Lock#

   Open Security again.

   While the app is unlocked, switch App Lock off.

   Enter the current PIN.

   The app verifies it before disabling the lock. A wrong PIN leaves the lock enabled.

If you cannot unlock the app#

Check that you are using the local four-digit app PIN. It is separate from any future online account credentials or Google Play purchase.

The current screen has no email-based PIN reset. Contact support before clearing app storage or reinstalling, because doing so can remove local records. A website support request does not unlock the app automatically.
