Capture shop costs with a date, category, amount, and payment source.
Save an expense
- 1
Tap Record Expense.
Open Expenses and start a new record.
- 2
Enter the amount.
Use the full expense amount in your business currency. It must be a valid number greater than zero.
- 3
Choose the category.
Select the expense account that describes the cost, such as rent, electricity, transport, or salaries.
- 4
Set date and description.
Choose the date the cost belongs to and enter a useful note, such as “June shop electricity bill.” If left blank, the category name is used.
- 5
Choose Cash or Bank.
For Bank, select the account that paid. Add a bank account first if the list is empty.
- 6
Tap Save Expense.
Wait for the expense list to return, then check the record and payment source.
Add a missing category
- 1
Open Accounts → Create Account.
The Add Category action on an empty expense-category screen also leads here.
- 2
Create an expense account.
Enter an unused account code and a descriptive account name, then choose the Expense account type.
- 3
Return to Record Expense.
Select the new category and complete your entry.
Review or remove an incorrect record
Use the expense list and its filters to locate the record. Check the description, amount, and date against your receipt. Keep your original receipts with your business records.
The delete action opens “Delete Expense.” Read the confirmation and choose Cancel if unsure. After deleting a mistaken record, check the expense list and cash or bank history before entering a replacement.
