Bank accounts, wallets & withdrawals
Set up payment accounts and follow the money recorded against them.
Real app reference. Follow the steps below for the current workflow; layouts may vary by app version.
Create a bank or wallet record
- 1
Tap Add Bank Account.
Open Banking and choose the add action.
- 2
Choose the bank.
Select a bank from the list. Use Bank not in list to enter a custom name when needed.
- 3
Enter the account details.
Add an Account Name you can recognize. Enter the optional Account Number if you want it stored or displayed with payment details.
- 4
Set type and currency.
Choose the account type and currency. Check they match the records you intend to keep.
- 5
Enter Opening Balance.
Use the actual starting balance on the date you begin keeping records in Yesri. Do not treat later deposits as another opening balance.
- 6
Set optional limits.
Enter Daily Receive Limit and Daily Send Limit if you want the app to check these amounts. Review them carefully before saving.
- 7
Save Bank Account.
Open the account and confirm the name, currency, and current balance.
Read the bank statement
- 1
Open the account.
The account detail screen shows Current Balance and Transaction History.
- 2
Trace a transaction.
Review Date, Description, Amount, and Balance. Use the description to find the related invoice payment, bill payment, expense, or withdrawal.
- 3
Compare with your actual statement.
Check dates and amounts against your bank or wallet app. Yesri records your bookkeeping entries; creating an entry does not move real money or connect to your bank.
Record a withdrawal
- 1
Open the source account.
Choose Withdraw Funds from its detail screen.
- 2
Enter the withdrawal.
Set the amount and a description explaining why funds were taken out.
- 3
Choose the GL account.
Select the appropriate equity account offered by the withdrawal form. Use Expenses for ordinary shop costs.
- 4
Confirm Withdrawal.
Confirm only after checking the real transaction. Review the updated balance and history.
Resolve a daily-limit message
Check whether the message concerns receiving or sending, then compare the entered transaction with that account’s configured daily limit and today’s recorded transactions.
Use another account only if the real payment used that account. Do not split or duplicate records merely to bypass a limit. Contact support if the recorded history and limit message do not agree.
