Before reading a report
- 1
Choose the business.
Confirm you are viewing the correct business profile.
- 2
Complete the source records.
Review drafts, posted invoices, supplier bills, recorded payments, and expenses. A saved draft is not a posted sale.
- 3
Select consistent dates.
Use the same date range when comparing period reports, or the same As of Date when comparing dated balances.
- 4
Check unusual totals.
Trace a surprising figure to its invoice, purchase, expense, or bank record. Do not create an adjusting transaction until you know what caused the difference.
Export a report
Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow, and Inventory Sales Report have PDF download actions. Select dates first, then use the download icon. On mobile, finish the share or save action offered by the device. On desktop, note the saved file path.
Open the exported PDF and check its business name, period, and totals before sharing. PDF exports are documents for reading; they cannot replace a .yesri backup for restoring the app.
