Actual Android app screen

Real app reference. Follow the steps below for the current workflow; layouts may vary by app version.

Have your business details ready

You will need your business name, owner name, business type, and email address. Have your phone number, address, and logo ready if you want them on your business profile. Choose the currency in which you keep your books.

Install Yesri Business Manager from the Google Play link on this website. On the first launch, the setup screen creates your local business profile. If you already have a .yesri backup, read the backup guide before creating new records.

Create your profile

  1. 1

    Add a logo.

Tap the logo area and choose an image from your gallery. You can update the logo later in Business Profile.

  2. 2

    Enter the required details.

Fill in Business Name, your Name, Business Info or business type, and a valid Email. Use a name your customers will recognize on invoices.

  3. 3

    Choose country and currency.

Select your country, then check the suggested currency. For Pakistani rupee records, choose PKR. Confirm this before recording transactions.

  4. 4

    Add contact information.

Select the correct phone country code, enter the number, and add your business address. Check spelling and numbers before continuing.

  5. 5

    Tap Create.

Wait for setup to finish. Yesri creates the business and default accounting categories, then takes you to the dashboard.

Return with a cloud business or backup file

  1. 1

    Choose your existing source.

On the setup screen, choose Already have a Business? Log In to Cloud for a connected shop, or Restore from .yesri Backup File for an independent database backup.

  2. 2

For cloud login, enter the business credentials.

In Cloud Business Login, enter Business Account Email and Password, then choose Log In & Restore. Stay online, wait for the result, and check the business name, invoices, and stock. This performs a full sync, not a Google Play purchase restore.

  3. 3

For a file, read Restore Backup?.

Choose Pick Backup File, select an unchanged .yesri backup, and let the restore finish. The app closes after replacing the database; reopen it and verify the records.

Prepare for your first sale

  1. 1

    Check the profile.

Open Settings → Business Profile and review the business name, currency, contact details, and invoice footer.

  2. 2

    Add your stock or services.

Open Inventory and create the products or services you sell. For tracked products, enter the stock physically available when you start using Yesri.

  3. 3

    Add customers and suppliers.

Create the contacts you will select on sales invoices and supplier bills.

  4. 4

    Set up payment accounts.

Add your bank or wallet records in Banking if you will record bank payments. Enter each opening balance only once.

  5. 5

    Review tax and invoice settings.

Add any tax rates you use and choose your invoice design. Review your first invoice carefully before saving; the current version attempts to post it automatically.

  6. 6

    Make a backup.

After setup, create a .yesri backup through Settings → Data Backup & Restore and keep a copy outside the device.

Starting with existing business records

Choose a clear starting date. Count your stock and note your bank balances on that date. An opening quantity represents stock you already have; a purchase bill represents a purchase you are recording. Entering the same stock both ways counts it twice.

If the app opens an existing dashboard, first check the business name. Use the business switcher for another business, or follow the restore guide to replace records from a backup.
